What type of wild weed or flower is the best to grow between rocks with a limited soil base on a wooden deck?

So many people ask these kinds of questions but leave no information on where they are living. It may be different for some one in, say, Minnesota, from another in Oregon.

Look up Asteracea. It's the daisy family. There are many many low growing forms that like rocky places. Osteospermum being one.

By the way, the definition of a weed is basically a plant that is not wanted.

the small chamomile used as lawns, mine is growing great on edges of pavers, and has a lovely smell when you walk on it

also can get minature mints for shade
Reply:"Hen and chicks" is a good one. It is a succulent cactus type of self spreading plant. Spreads throughout the rocks, that is. Likes the heat, I imagine. Looks good too. Interesting plant.
