What do I have to do to insure that my perennial flowers will bloom again next year?

have dasies, mums, and a wild lilly of some sort.

THANKS IN ADVANCE! ♥

What do I have to do to insure that my perennial flowers will bloom again next year?
They must be in the ground or if they are potted you must bring them inside so the roots don't freeze. Cut the stems short and fertilize before the first frost. Cross your fingers. Assuming they survive the winter, fertilize again when they start to come back in the spring and prune out whatever dead may be left on the plant.
Reply:When they've died off for the year, cut them back to about 2 inches above ground level.

Next spring when they start to grow, get rid of the dead stalks and fertilize.

Works well with mums and daisies,so I'm sure it would be fine for the lily too.
Reply:You can give em a good dose of food come Spring and start watering them as soon as it warms in the Spring. BAYER makes a really good plant food to use on your perennials. I know nurseries sell it, I have also seen it at HOME DEPOT.

Good luck with all your flowers.
