How do I get my work out there?

I have been painting again for sometime now and have quite a collection! Mainly wild animals, flowers and indians! Everyone thinks I should sell them but I dont know where I should go or what I should do!

If someone could give me some really informative stuff that'd be great! Thanks in advance!

How do I get my work out there?
Post them on ArtWanted website. I am getting about 300 hits a day on mine. Its better than a one-man show in a gallery! Over 20,000 artists post their work there and you can see what people think of each piece and how many people saw it. Real easy to use.

Reply:you could try your local art club, try your community centre, the one near me has an art club and they put on an annual exhibition where people buy them

but it depends how far you want to go, obviously not the best option if youre looking at it professionally
Reply:Find a public building (hospital, library, town hall, sports centre, are just a few) and get permission to brighten up their walls with an exhibition. Label all the paintings with your name and address and price and be at home when the phone rings.
Reply:I do not know what kind of work you do, but my best advise to you is show your friends and associate if you have any what you can do for them if they are in need of your work. You might want to have your price a little lower then the norm until you have achieve you business. Another way is to make business card so when you get in a conversation with some one about your line of work you can offer them a card either for their need or let them know to tell a friend what you can do. I hope I answer your quetion.
Reply:There are a number of art sites that you can contact to feature your work, they will obviously charge a fee for this, alternatively you can set up your own site from which to sell. There are a number of informative guides on the net which can help you and there are also organisations that can manage and build you a site, it all depends on how much you want to spend from nothing to quite a bit. There are some sites that will feature your work for free, its just a matter of finding the right one. Just a thought, if you have an e bay account try selling some of your work on there just to see what kind of reception your work receives. Another idea is to set up a blog with some photos of your work on it. Let me know how you get on, or drop me an e mail if you need any more help.
Reply:go to the Atelier or Art company (paiting studios)

Reply:You could go to a local market and set up a stall, or try ebay. Or you could advertise in your local papershop window.
Reply:A friend of my girlfriends has just started to get her work in galleries and is becoming quite successful. I think a professional looking blog is a good start, also friends and word of mouth helped her alot.

She also linked up with some bands as she's a big music fan and did some artwork for them. I think generally, think of every avenue that will give your work maximum exposure.
Reply:Hi,

you can also try Artbyus

Kind regards and good luck,
