Which do you prefer an immaculate garden.... or a field of wild flowers?

A field of wild flowers, no human can plant and arrange them as good as God can and does!

How do I grow a gorgeous indoor garden?

I am 13 and I said this question because I live in a townhouse and they give you no space what so ever to plant anything (not even grass!) and if you do grow a garden, the curious and wild littlier children will mess with it and so will the pit bulls that roam around (scary, isn't it), and I said this because my teacher got me interested in flowers. I am interested in it and wanted to try it. A lot of details would be highly appreciated! I am just starting to love flowers, help me please!

How do I grow a gorgeous indoor garden?
there are lots of plants that are very happy to grow indoors in pots and trays on windowsills. just have to be more careful about watering as most plants dry out easily indoors but dont like being over watered
Reply:do some research on line to find the most adaptable flowers and plants that do well indoors, use decorative pots with saucer bottoms so water doesnt go on floor after watering some may need sun so put them near windows with light during day also the pots with saucers are really great with wheels so you can move them around if needed...nature is great and your 13 and should find gardening, even if indoors very rewarding..

I need a natural holistic method for getting rid of intestinal worms and fleas in dogs?

Please do not answer and advise me to use Advantage or advantick or any such drops on her neck. I have a German Shepherd, 8 years, and she has constant worms. The deworming medicine (oral) my Vet gives doesn't work. (Strongid-t). because of reinfestation with fleas. We try to keep the fleas under control (it is quite a battle), and she does not get a lot of exposure to other animal feces, but somehow she is reinfecting herself. Maybe weakened immunity.

What do you think of diatomaceus earth, or claendula flowers or wild chrysanthemum flowers added to her food? Tr

I feed her a diet of various raw and poached meats and grated carrots and sometimes beets and and and flax seeds (pulverized) and Dolomite, and vit B's and fish oils and MSM.

But still worms. I tried garlic-no luck.

Battling the fleas is very time consuming. I recently discovered that liquid Ivory soap baths kills them dead, but I have to shampoo her every week, because she picks them up when I walk her in Miami

I need a natural holistic method for getting rid of intestinal worms and fleas in dogs?
I am not sure about a natural alternative for parasites. I know of a product that is meant for humans called Paratrex. This product does contain Diatomaceus Earth. I have a few friends that have them Diatomaceus Earth. I would also try using a Holistic Vet and there website is http://www.ahvma.org/.

My friends have also given them the Paratrex in a reduced dosage.

Reply:I preface this message with "Please check with some of the holistic vets, first, as well as do your own research."

An effective herbal remedy to eliminate parasites in HUMANS (not sure about our canine friends) is liquid extracts of clove, black walnut and wormwood. Take 10 drops of each 2xs/day for one month, allowing existing parasites to be killed, as well as their eggs.

Good luck!
Reply:first of all u must tell us what the doctor/xray/scan has shown. in such cases u must give full details, we are all friends and not doctors and narrate our experiences, which may not be applicable if u go deeper in to derails. how ever tell us is your job more of 'sitting'? u must change your posture, your back must have proper rest, sit comfortably and without feeling tense about the work
Reply:Hello I am also very hesitant to feed my dogs poison even if its supposed to be safe. what i use is a natural product called Kocci Free from a company called Amber Technology the web address is http://www.parvaid.com/products.php. i have used their natural products constantly for infections and once i used their Parvaid product to help my girlfriend save one of her dogs that got the horrible parvo virus. we took him to the vet they charged us about 2,000 dollars for a one night stay and basically told us he was going to die. after some web research we found this product tried it out and with in about two days he was up and eating like if nothing had happened. i have a lot of faith on these people and i use their products often including their dewormer and heart worm formula. i think that this is the best product you can buy if you want a ready made product for your dog that is natural. and about the flea problem there is a natural herbal product at petco that i cant remember the name but i used it and it worked rather well. i hope this helps and keep your dog as happy as possible

What kind of tree is this (pics included)?

I planted wild flowers but this has grown from the soil along with them. I have no idea what it is. It looks like a young tree, it's about a foot and a half tall right now and producing berries which are green at first then turn purple. there are 3 total growing around the same place the others are smaller. do you have any idea what kind of tree/plant it is? Here are the links for pics of the berries it's producing and the leaves.

What kind of tree is this (pics included)?
It's definitely in the genus Solanum, probably black nightshade, Solanum nigrum, and absolutely not a tree!

here's a picture of black nightshade:

Reply:i should have warned you that it's very poisonous Report It

Reply:Very interesting, great answer, I love all I can learn on Y!answers. Thank you Report It

Reply:ya, the links don't work for me either

How big are the berries? Are there thorns on it anywhere?

Almost sounds like a black raspberry

I'll star and try to remember to look back...

OK got the location and picture....I lived in New Hampshire most my life....never saw anything similar. Somebody from your area will probably get it
Reply:I can't find the pictures, the links you posted don't work. Maybe you could use Imagesocket instead? Also it would help if you told us what part of the world you live in.
